Your mission

Hallo und willkommen bei Sungrow in Deutschland! We are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist who will help shape Sungrow’s voice in Germany’s evolving energy and policy landscape. Curious what this is all about? Let’s dive right in:

Develop and lead Sungrow’s public affairs strategy and stakeholder engagement across Germany.
Build trusted relationships with federal and state authorities, political stakeholders, ministries, parliamentary offices and think tanks.
Monitor political, legislative and energy-policy developments that may affect Sungrow’s market access, reputation and business priorities.
Represent Sungrow in relevant German industry associations and align national positions with our European public affairs activities.
Act as a key contact for policymakers, regulatory bodies and stakeholders in the solar PV and battery storage sectors.
Prepare position papers, consultation responses, senior-management briefings and talking points aligned with Sungrow’s EU and global messaging.

Your profile

All right, that was intriguing, wasn’t it? To thrive in this role and enjoy a long-term impact, your background could look like this:

You hold a degree in political science, law, public policy, European studies, international relations or a related field.
You bring at least five years of experience in public affairs, government relations or political communications within the German political environment.
You have an established network within German federal politics, Berlin’s energy-policy community or relevant industry associations.
You understand German energy and industrial policy, including EEG, electricity-market developments, capacity mechanisms and grid regulation.
You communicate confidently with political and institutional stakeholders and represent organisational interests with credibility and sound judgement.
You have German language skills at C2 level and English skills at C1 level; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
