Distribution Service Engineer - Italy (Part-Time 35hrs) - Temporary Contract

Your mission

Ciao a tutti! We are seeking a dedicated Distribution Service Engineer to join our growing team in Italy for a temporary contract (2 year temp. contract). This role is crucial for maintaining excellent service standards and supporting our partners and customers in the rapidly expanding Italian market. You will be instrumental in: 
  • Managing hotline and ticket systems for distributors, installers, and end-users. 
  • Providing training sessions to distributors and installers in the region. 
  • Supporting onsite troubleshooting/commissioning activities in the related region. 
  • Assisting with pre-sales customer visits in collaboration with the Account Manager. 
  • Creating and maintaining FAQs, online courses, and documentation for the region. 
  • Preparing regular performance reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) for the department center.

Your profile

All right, all right, that was intriguing, wasn't it? Now, to fit comfortably and effectively into this role, your ideal background should look a lot like this: 
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical education. 
  • At least 3 years of experience in after-sales or technical support within the PV/ESS/O&M sector; inverter experience is a plus. 
  • Strong motivation and passion for success in the clean-tech industry.
  •  Language skills: Italian and English at C1 level; additional European languages are an asset.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly. 
  • An independent, focused, and adaptable approach to working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
  • Willingness to travel 40-55% for business between the local market and the EU department center.
